Join comedian and professional design nerd, Tim Ross and acclaimed musician and composer Kit Warhurst for their brand new show, The Mid Century Project.
These two besties can’t wait to open the doors to some extraordinary homes for an old-fashioned shindig full of hilarious stories, fantastic songs and maybe even a tiny bit of dancing.
For over a decade they have been taking architecturally significant buildings and turning them into temporary theatres and skilfully blending architecture, comedy and music.

The Sydney House renovation delivers a simple, efficient residence for a young family of five.
The clients came to the project with a charming narrative recalling their purchase of the house at a relatively young age. Having lived nearby for many years they had lusted after the art-deco residence for many years. When the property came on the market they went out of their way to secure it and were very thrilled to have done so.
The original dwelling was relatively modest by today’s standards – 3 bedroom, 1 living, no outdoor entertaining area. Having lived in the house in its original condition very happily for a number of years, their young family had begun to grow and they had recognised that the house would need to be expanded in order for it to continue to serve their family’s needs. They also recognised that the house needed to be ‘modernised’ to facilitate contemporary indoor/outdoor liveability of sub-tropical south-east qld – underpinning the house’s relevance and value well into the 21st century.
